Breathtaking

It's funny you should post this. I was driving home late this afternoon and the moon was full, bright and white with crater shadows on it, not a cloud in the sky, and I actually pulled over into a parking lot to stare at it. It was almost surreal. And I thought, "There are people looking at this at the same time I am, and some of them are thinking what I'm thinking...what a wonderful prize God has given us, what a wonderful sight out there for us to marvel at...and there are others who don't believe in God and they're thinking nearly the same thing, except they think it's by a random act." We both think it's beautiful and amazing. But I don't think they feel as intensely awed by it as I do, because I actually believe that someone put it there for me.

The Colossians 15 passage really stood out to me as I read your post. My mind can't grasp this incredible truth. Jesus, who is so intimate and tender-hearted with little 'ole me, is beyond descriptionl. Words cannot describe how awesome He is.

A woman in my neighborhood posted some fantastic hubble telescope photographs. You can view them here. The glory of the Lord fills the universe and beyond. Incredible...

Davd Swansulbury,

Glad to see you in Blogland declaring the glory of the gospel. I think it's amazing how God, in His infinite wisdom speaks to us through the heavens of His glory. It is truly sad that so many miss this and dismiss the Creator for a more sophisticated argument that these things arose out of some sort of cosmic fluctuation by mere chance..."and God let their foolish minds be darkened..." It's sad, even sadder that one could read this and laugh about the naievete of the argument from faith where it seems so obvious that this is the handiwork of a thoughtful Creator. Continue magnifying Christ!
